LKNEA and LKSD have not reached a tentative agreement in regards to the certified teachers contract. Sometime in the fall the two teams will meet with a mediator to attempt to reach a tentative agreement. Will the LKSD Board Members attend the future bargaining sessions? So far they have not been in attendance at the table, only management and their hired negotiator.
The political season is upon us, members wishing to seek an endorsement for any of the candidates are encouraged to do so.

verified the spring election .
